Independent Senior Seeks Long Term Housing in Catalina Foothills, Oro Valley, or E Tucson

Independent Senior Seeks Long Term Housing in Catalina Foothills, Oro Valley, or East Tucson • I am a 73 year old African American Female in search of a shared housing situation, possibly with a family or individual who does not necessarily need the money but is appreciative of having extra eyes on the property who serves as a Resident House Sitter when the Owner is away ~ The residence can be in the form of a Large Studio, Loft, Guest House, Casita, Large Family Room, or Master Bedroom Suite, etc., in a Quiet Residential Neighborhood ~ When I first moved to Tucson in 2005, I resided at The Villas in Sabino Canyon for five or so years, long before they became Condominiums and Vacation Rentals ~ I literally lived within walking distance of the entrance to Sabino Canyon ~ • I will require a Private Bathroom with a bathtub not a shower, basic Kitchen Appliances (Stove, Refrigerator, and Dishwasher [0ptional]), Washer/Dryer, A/C or Ceiling Fans, and On-Site Parking ~ For example: I rented the Master Bedroom of a large 5 Bedroom Ranch Style House in E Tucson ~ In addition to having entry through the main house, there was both a porch and patio entrance to the Master Bedroom ~ Therefore, there was no need for me to enter through the front door unless I chose to ~ I shared the kitchen with two other female housemates who occupied two of the other rooms ~ The house was large enough that we all had ample kitchen cabinet space and extra inside storage for other miscellaneous items ~ We all had free access to the outdoor patios and gardens ~ • A plethora of books constitutes the majority of my belongings, therefore, I will require enough wall space to display them ~ My intention is Not to Exceed $500/600 per month with Utilities Included and I will be Available to assume occupancy immediately ~ I will be the Sole Occupant residing on the premises and am a Non-Smoker, a Non-Drinker, and I have No Pets ~ • Social Security is my only source of guaranteed income at present but I plan on securing additional income once settled ~ Since COVID-19, working Remote has become exceedingly popular, therefore, securing Remote employment should not pose a problem ~ • I anticipate becoming actively involved with the Southern Arizona Friends of Jung (The Jung Society in Tucson) whose library is located in the Little Chapel of All Nations on the University of Arizona Campus, and re-associating with The Desert Doves (a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Group located in NW Tucson ~ • Additionally, my lifestyle includes: Non Contact Boxing (Title Boxing Club), Boot Camp, Kickboxing ~ I am anticipating resuming: Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Flow, Cycling Classes, and various Yoga Classes as well ~ When COVID-19 Regulations shut down my old gym in Texas, class scheduling and the number of available classes also changed once it reopened ~ • Most of all, I want to feel as though I live in Arizona ~ I like the desert, I like the critters, and I love the mountains ~ I am nurtured by the mountains ~ • I have a Doctorate in Mythological Studies (a Humanities Degree) and an Undergrad in Cultural Anthropology (a Social Science Degree) ~ Therefore, I am Culturally Sensitive and capable of interacting with a multitude of individuals ~ From 2002 to 2004, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Village of Onepandaulo, located in the Republic of Namibia ~
