Part Time Sales Associate for ART Industry Publication (Work from Home)

We are a leading, dynamic publication and website for commercial illustrators looking for a sales assistant to help with seasonal phone calls, database management and some social media. This position will work from home 25 hours/week. Ideally: 5 hours/day Monday-Friday, mornings. My last assistant typically worked 8am-1pm PST though the hours can be somewhat flexible. Duties include: Pre-screening potential sales leads via phone Updating database with information from calls Email follow-up and appointment setting Helping with Facebook and Twitter pages This position is mainly to make calls, pre-screen artists and set appointments for me to follow-up. You will need to keep accurate notes in the database, be detail-oriented and be great on the phone. A good people person with a positive attitude will do well in this position. It is a seasonal position mid-September through March/April every year. I am hoping to start training this summer so you’re ready for the fall sales season. We have a yearly sales meeting in Santa Barbara at the end of September. This is an hourly position. You will receive a 1099 – independent contractor agreement. Are you great with people?
