Looking for a room/roommate
Hi! I am in need of a room to stay by July 31 and good for possibly three (3) months. I could probably extend up to 6 months depending if I am comfortable with my living situation. Eventually, I would like my own place. Meantime, I want to rent a room or share a room with someone who is mature. I am 41 but I am flexible so someone younger is not a problem so long as he/she shows respect and not messy. It has to be a non-smoking environment, quiet, affordable and access to washer/dryer. Preferably in South Overland Park or within 5 miles from Foster Street.
About me:
I am currently unemployed but receiving unemployment benefits due to my work closing permanently so applying for an apartment might not work out for me as they usually need to verify income. I have no criminal record and I have a clean rental history. I pay my bills on time. I can also give references. There are two jobs waiting for me...one would start this month and another sometime between August and September. Attached is my pic.
