FMX, Inc is currently seeking experienced and dependable Owner Operators to join our team. With the help of our dedicated owner operators, we are able to pride ourselves in timely and safe delivery. Owner Operators under lease to FMX will operate under FMX Liability & Cargo Insurance and under our DOT Authority. What we do: FMX hauls intermodal containers primarily from the railroads located in Jacksonville, Orlando/Titusville and Tampa.. We pick up the container and chassis and deliver it to the final destination in Florida and once the customer has finished, we return the container and chassis to the railroad. Our Owner-Operators are home every day so they can enjoy their down time with their friends and family. Once you have become a part of the FMX team you can expect: *$1.00 per mile loaded and unloaded plus the current fuel surcharge rate on each load.

Tractor Requirements: *Must have a well maintained tractor *Must have your own registration -- FMX does not have a tag program *Must pass Federal DOT Inspection every 3 months at our inspection facility. *No age requirement *Must have 3 axles *Must be registered for 80,000 GVW Required Documents: *Copy of your Current Medical Card *Copy of your current Medical Long form *Copy of your CDL *Copy of your Social Security or EIN number *Copy of your tractor registration *DOT inspection (less than 1 month old) Proof of Insurance: *Bobtail Coverage is provided by FMX *Physical Damage coverage is offered if you do not have your own *Worker's Comp or Occupational Accident Insurance is required.
