Wood lazy chair, 'Ekurasi'
Tradition sits regally in this lazy chair, known as Ekurasi, at one time reserved for the night watchman lending attentive vigil. Ekurasi also means "village," the illusion created by the careful and intricate hand-carving of this chair. Presented by Ernestina Oppong Asante, the chair is crafted of local odum wood and masterfully detailed with polish in different hues. Furniture infused with African artistry, this piece makes for an original complement to a sophisticated setting. The chair may be disassembled. A fascinating accent for your ethnic decor.
