1970 baja bug

Good condition baja bug, clean title. been working on it for a few months but don't have the time or money to finish it. 2 main problems with it, 1) I can't seem to get the fan to stay in place to stop scraping against the fan shroud and 2) the brakes need some work, they work decent at best, and pedal doesn't keep upright it falls towards the seat. they are the old drum brakes that have been bled and adjusted but they are old drum brakes...so they just need to be replaced with disc brakes.  Starts and runs like a new car. I drove it up until I had to replace the generator with an alternator and the fan has been a problem since. Wouldn't be a problem if you know more than I do. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I just need it gone. That being said, in the past 3 months this is what I have done to it. Brand new alternator Brand new master cylinder and push rod  Brand new cockpit, empi steering wheel  Brand new flasher switch  Brand new ignition switch  Brand new relays for headlights and flashers Brand new battery

Brand new pedal cluster shaft Brand new fiberglass floor pans and bolts Brand new roller pedal and throttle cable  Brand new fuel lines and filter  Brand new oil filter  Brand new motor oil Brand new windshield  Brand new window seals all around Brand new empi billet window cranks  Brand new 4 point harness seat belts  Fabricated access hatch in the back for easy access to starter, throttle cable, clutch cable, etc.  Roll bar installed, needs to be mounted better and have cross bars welded in, for structure and for better mounting points for the seat belts. Toyota pickup seats installed, also have original back seats  Electric fuel pump (works great, rigged to that boom switch on dash board) Fiber glass fenders, hood, and apron Tires in good condition  Upgraded shocks  Empi shifter  I have a sheet metal baja dash, I was going to use the stock one, NOTE: I have original door panels, but they're old and faded, so I made a quick temporary replacement. They weren't made to last. They're just for show. So there's the pros.  Cons are an easy list that I've mostly stated already. Brakes  Scraping air fan  Needs glove box and door (unless you're going to use the baja dash) Needs ash tray (unless you're going to use the baja dash) Doesn't have a headliner or carpet  Doesn't have interior panels
