Learn more at BeneStream is looking for an energetic, personable individual with a passion for economic justice who is interested in working for a for-profit social venture. The right candidate will be hyper-organized and ready to think critically to deliver a new model of public benefits delivery. This is an entry-level position and training will be provided. The SWAT team member will play a key role in delivering BeneStream’s public benefits enrollment product. This person completes on-site enrollments one-on-one with low-income workers. The SWAT team member will experience the energy of a startup environment and have a front row seat for the implementation of the ACA (Affordable Care Act). Duties Include:  Direct client service: help low-income and working families apply for Medicaid, food stamps and Lifeline phones  Use BeneStream’s software to determine employees’ eligibility for public benefits  Guide employees through the application process of Medicaid, food stamps, and Lifeline phones  Develop a strong understanding of enrollment rules and procedures  Prepare necessary materials for each implementation  Keep track of employees and their statuses  Contacting and keeping-in-touch with employees via phone, email, text  Other policy research, operations and client management projects as needed Desired Qualifications:  Proficient in Spanish is a must. Other languages a plus.  Personable and comfortable assisting clients over the phone and in person  Ability to think on your feet and solve problems in the field  Ability to work independently and as part of a small dynamic team  Highly organized  Computer literate  Reliable transportation We are looking to begin training sessions next week so for immediate start please email updated resumes to Part Time hours as needed.
