Custom bobber chopper: Full custom bike, blending vintage and handmade parts with careful workmanship. The frame design was based on stock dimensions, changed in a few key areas. The fresh engine was rebuilt using specs from an old race prep manual (circa 1958) Nearly 900 hours invested in building this truly “one-off” bike nearly from scratch. · Jig built custom frame, built from DOM tubing and fully TIG welded. · 28 degrees of rake, 4” stretch in rear. Frame is 1” shorter than stock at seat post. · BSA QD rear wheel and drum. Drum machined to take 8 bolt Triumph sprocket. · Honda CB trees, MR175 forks, wheel and brake. · Dunlop K180 rear tire, Avon Speedmaster front. · BSA A10 fuel tank, narrowed and reshaped, TIG welded. · Aluminum rear fender, two layers thick for added strength. · 1937 Ford tail light, headlight is an old fog lamp from the 40s, with a vintage motorcycle lens. · All paint is Sikkens urethane base clear. · Fresh engine with .040” over HHC pistons and blueprinted oil pump · 67-357 cam, moly pushrods. · Aluminum Super Rocket head, fully ported with radius valve seats and oversize valves, new iron guides with bronze liners. · All stainless exhaust, 1 5/8” diameter with tuned length megaphones. · Bob Newby Racing belt drive (I cannot say enough good things about it, it’s an incredible setup) · New Joe Hunt magneto with stock auto advance gear for easier starting. · New Amal 930 on custom inlet manifold. · 12V charging system; Boyer regulator, generator rebuilt for 12V. All wiring is cloth covered. · Rebuilt STD transmission, new bearings polished shafts etc. 19/46 final drive sprockets. · Custom 3qt aluminum oil tank, return side restriction built into tank. · Custom stainless handlebars with reshaped Amal levers and NOS jackhammer grips. · Reshaped and polished A10 brake pedal, custom pegs/peg brackets. Sidestand is a reshaped and polished Triumph part. · RedTail Leather seat.
