• Parameter sheets completely filled out, and out of control parameters documented and signed off by Engineering (Start up checks and checked throughout the day) • Logbooks completed daily • Provide on-call troubleshooting and process control support for assigned production units • Responsible for assigned preventative maintenance on equipment that falls within assigned production units • Communicate effectively with all support groups (manufacturing, materials, maintenance, quality, and process technicians on prior or following shifts) • Follow the control plan in the designated area • Know the top scrap issues and assist in action plans to resolve them • Assist in developing action plans to correct issues that hinder an efficiency of 85% • Adhere to all company state and federal health and safety regulations • Adhere to company housekeeping for assigned production units • Responsible for hooking up chemicals on line and maintaining log sheet • Management reserves the right to reassign process technicians to accommodate business needs • Document all activities as required • Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety. • Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management. Limits of Authority • Advise Department Manager of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results. • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems. • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation. • Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected. • Instruct operators on proper methods and work instructions as required • Fill out and submit work orders Basic Education, Experience and Training Requirements • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with polyurethane manufacturing processes in automotive interior trim manufacturing • Training level or robot programming abilities on Atreum specific robot systems for foam dispensing, glue dispensing, and waterjet • Desirable to have introductory level experience with: • Polyurethane metering systems • SRIM, RRIM, and FIP tooling and equipment processing • Waterjet and pierce press trimming processing • Assembly equipment, die cutting, hot melt systems, etc. • Some basic operating knowledge of PLC’s specific to Atreum equipment interfacing • Vacuum forming processing • Injection molding processing Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements • High amount of standing, average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
