$50 Study for 30min of your time

Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders East Carolina University $50 Study for 30min of your time CHILD PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR STUDY We are looking for volunteers, 4-6 years of age, to take part in a study using MRI.As a participant in this study, your child will receive an MRI of his/her head in an upright MRI scanner. Your participation would involve a 30 minute session. The session would consist of completing a short 1 page questionnaire and an MRI scan. It also allows for us to prepare your child for the study, complete consent forms, and practice the speech samples. You will go in with your child and be with him/her at all times.While from our experience most children actually enjoy the different experience of getting in a MRI machine, if they get anxious or nervous at all, the study is terminated. An MRI is totally safe for your child (no radiation like X-Ray).
