CNC Machinist

The roles and responsibilities of CNC Machinist are as follows: • Programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce parts • Confer with programmers to implement particular plans to produce a large variety of parts • Oversee machines to ensure proper shapes are cut from metal and plastic • Read blueprints effectively and follow instructions properly so parts are produced correctly • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly used and maintained • Handle processes carefully and report any malfunctions • Follow company quality and safety standards • Collaborate effectively with the entire SEI Manufacturing team to assure clear communication • Check stock inventory to ensure appropriate stock is available for a machining project and production. Anticipate needed stock.
