Drivers will be home some nights and guaranteed to be home every weekend. Drivers will generally run 250 mile radius of terminal 1,900 miles per week and average of 8-10 delieveries each week. You can make up to $950 weekly (BASED on Activity, not CPM). Mileage pay depending on Experience, from .41 CPM up to .47 CPM if have 3 years of experience. Empty Mileage pay is .34 CPM up to .39 CPM if you have at least 3 years of experience. 90% of the time the loads are preloaded. 30% of the time loads are live loads. Most loads are not required to be tarped. Backhauls may require tarps - will be additional $45 to mileage pay. Main job will be hauling building materials, mainly treated lumber. Drivers will be assigned a day cab or sleeper unit to drive. Tractors are not permitted to be taken home and must be returned to the yard Qualifications: Must have Class A CDL and Must have six months Tractor Trailer time in the last 12 months. Will consider a driver in a truck longer than out, IF it was OTR comparable experience. Meaning van, reefer, flat or tank. * No more than 3 jobs in the last year. Fairly Clean MVR, and Background, and must have an Alabama Class A License.
